Welcome to Our New Committee Chairs!!!

Please meet our committee chairs:

Josh will be in charge of our Day on the Hill, as well as working on supporting our legislative efforts.

Joshua is a northern Utah native. He graduated from Utah Valley University and went on to attend Eastern Virginia Medical School where he received his Master of Physician Assistant. He is a certified physician assistant working in dermatology.

Courtney will be working to keep our webpage and social media updated. Courtney has already started making improvements to our webpage to make it more inviting.

Courtney is a PA-C who works in primary care, specializing in geriatrics. After moving back to Utah upon completion of PA school in Chicago, she wanted to become more involved in the local Physician Assistant community. During the annual UAPA conference in St. George she offered to take on the role as the web and media chair. Outside of work she likes to spend her time in the outdoors; hiking, biking and camping.

Melanie will be in charge of our emergency preparedness efforts.

Melanie Murphy has been a licensed PA since 2002. She has practiced in pediatrics, women’s health and family medicine. Melanie is currently a faculty member at the University of Utah PA program. She is passionate about providing health care to underserved populations and helping PAs organize to contribute their skills and knowledge in emergency situations.
