Happy Thanksgiving from Utah Academy of Physician Assistants President, Viet Le.

Dear Utah Community,

As we reflect on the many blessings in our lives, I invite you to take a moment to consider the things for which you are grateful. This season of gratitude is a perfect time to acknowledge the positive changes and advancements that have touched our lives and community.

I am deeply grateful for the improved access to healthcare that Physician Assistants (PAs) provide. Our
dedicated PAs work tirelessly to ensure that quality healthcare is available to all, and recent legislative successes have significantly bolstered their efforts. The passing of SB27 and SB28 of general session 2021 and the PA Licensure Compact Bill have been pivotal in enhancing our ability to deliver
comprehensive care across the state and beyond its borders. These legislative efforts have supported our PAs and strengthened Utah's healthcare system capabilities to deliver high-quality team-based healthcare.

I hope we will continue to make strides in healthcare delivery, technology, and therapies. The future holds immense potential for innovation and improvement, and I am confident that we can achieve even greater heights in providing exceptional care for our community.
In this spirit of gratitude, I also encourage you to remember those in need. Many in our community are facing challenges such as food insecurity, lack of clothing, and homelessness. Additionally, some are experiencing loneliness and could benefit from a kind word or a helping hand. Let us reach out to our neighbors and offer support to those who need it most.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to making Utah a healthier and more compassionate place for all.

Warm regards,
Viet Le, DMSc MPAS PA-C
