Call for Speakers

Submissions are now being accepted for podium presentations at the 30th Annual John M Allen Memorial Conference.  Physicians, Physician Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and other specialists are encouraged to submit their proposals for the following subjects:

• Orthopaedics (Specifically Common Orthopaedic conditions in Primary Care)
• Cardiovascular
• Pulmonology (Specifically COPD)
• Gastroenterology (Specifically Nutrition)
• Rheumatology
• Otolaryngology
• Women's Health
• Men's Health
• Endocrinology
• Urology
• Neurology
• Psychiatry & Behavioral Health
• Dermatology
• Hematology
• Infectious Disease
• Pediatrics
• Emergency Medicine
• Geriatrics
• Burnout, Wellness, Mindfulness for
• Healthcare Providers
• Coding & Billing for Healthcare Providers
• Oncology
• Evidence Based Medical Practice

Proposals

Proposal submissions may be a brief abstract and must meet the following criteria:

1. Update attendees on up-to-date practices
2. Focus on application for general medical care
3. Include a minimum of three educational objectives for the presentation
• Ex//   Attendees will apply best practices in asthma care
4. Presentations must be formatted for 45 minutes with 5 minutes of Question & Answer
5. Preference will be given to proposals from current members of the UAPA

Honorarium

All speakers will be eligible for either a $300 honorarium or free tuition for the conference.

Proposals will be reviewed by the conference organizing committee and speakers will be informed of acceptance or denial by December 31, 2018.
